All of these negative influences can affect your life if you allow it to.

It is time to take control of your life. You have the power to think and more importantly feel the way you want to. No one or no thing should be able to dictate your emotions.

The following are 40 things you can do to take back control of your life. These are simple exercises to remind yourself to just slow down and appreciate all the good that is around you.

Make it a point to carry out at least one exercise on a daily basis. Soon the exercises will become routine and when they become routine, your life will be anything but routine.

Nick Vujicic - Life Without Limbs(Not A Problem)

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. A friend of mine emailed me the following video a few days ago. It was perfect timing because I received it at a time when I was kind of down and feeling sorry for myself. Not in a desperate way but I was complaining about all the little things that happen every day. We all go through it and we allow these little annoyances to ruin our whole day.

It seems at times that the whole world is conspiring against us. We sometimes feel alone in this big universe. We tend to shrivel up into a corner at the first sign of adversity. After viewing this video, I no longer feel the need to ever complain again.

This video features Nick Vujicic, a man born without arms or legs. Nick has managed to do more with his life than most of us will ever dream of. I don't want to say to much because I would rather let the video speak for itself. The message is better left to be told by Nick himself.

I encourage you to click on the related videos and visit his website, Life Without Limbs as well to find out more about Nick and his mission to inspire millions of people to reach their full potential.

We are here to enjoy this existence. Find the good things in life to be grateful for. Focus on the things that you want and life will be more fulfilling. The more we focus on the lack of "stuff" in our lives, we will continue to experience lack of "stuff".

Only dwell on the good feelings of having and being what you want. This begins the creative process. Soon you will begin to see evidence of your wants and desires. Release all the petty complaints that you may have. They are completely counter productive. Despite our circumstances, anything and everything is possible.

Enjoy this video and be sure to share it with your friends and family. Have a great day as you allow into it all that the Universe has for you. Thanks for listening and many blessings.

I'm So Happy And Grateful Now That...Redefining The Dream

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends. I just wanted to share a short video with you on this day of gratefulness. It was introduced to me by Richard Furlong. I am grateful for Richard and positive attitude he brings to life.

The following is one of my favorite quotes, "The Power Of Attitude". It is a quote that reminds us that a positive attitude leads to amazing things.

Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens; not by what life brings us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst...A spark that creates extraordinary results.

On this day of Thanksgiving we can substitute the word "gratitude" in place of "attitude" and it is just as powerful.

Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens; not by what life brings us, but by the gratitude we bring to life. Unconditional gratitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. Gratitude is a catalyst...A spark that creates extraordinary things.

We need to be grateful in all things. The good and the bad. I was talking with my mother about this prior to writing this and she reminded me of the importance of being grateful for anything and everything that happens to us. This may seem hard when situations appear to be negative, but we never know what the end result will be.

We are quick to be thankful for the good things in life but reject the negative. Many times situations that may seem negative are the ones that lead us to what we are truly wanting. Being grateful for hardships can also be a chain reaction to positive thoughts, events, and outcomes.

By remaining thankful, another door will surely be opened. Dwelling on the negative leads to confusion and indecision because we are not focused on our goals. In this state, all you can see are the obstacles standing in the way. Change your attitude to one of gratitude and you will begin to see extraordinary results and a clear path towards your aspirations.

Make everyday one gratitude. When you wake up in the morning, let your thoughts be, "I'm so happy and grateful now that..." and take it from there. Be happy and grateful for all things and be ready for an amazing existence.

Again, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Thanks for listening and many blessings!

Make Change A Good Thing

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. During the recent election Barack Obama's platform was CHANGE. Obama felt that it was time for a change for the American people. While there is a need for change for the America as a whole, I feel it is equally important for individuals to personally change as we head into a new era.

One of my business partners has a quote that she likes to use to motivate others.
"Do just ONE thing different and it will change everything."
It is a reminder that all we need is a simple shift in thinking. Albert Einstein said,
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
Change is good. Change is inevitable. It is our job to identify these changes and then adapt accordingly. Don't get down if it seems as though the world around you is moving at a different pace. Don't wait for circumstances to change. Change the circumstances.

We are meant to be proactive in this existence on planet earth. We can choose to ride the wave and go with the flow. In this state, we are aligned with the Universe and everything moves easily into our lives. We can also choose to do nothing and get swept away by the waves. This causes us to feel as though we are being tossed around in every direction with no hope for the future.

I encourage all of us to look at ourselves as we move into this new era. Don't look for the new administration as a source of happiness. Happiness can't come from these external forces. Happiness can only come from within. When we begin to change the way we perceive our existence, then happiness and contentment can be had.

The following are some great quotes concerning change. Read them. Embrace them. Live them. Get excited for all the wonderful things that are already in your life and for the things that are on its way. Change is on the way. But that is no longer a problem. Many blessings, and thanks for listening.

Abraham Lincoln:
The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew.

Alan Cohen:
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Aldous Huxley:
There's only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.

Alfred North Whitehead:
The art of progress is to preserve order amid change and to preserve change amid order.

Anais Nin:
Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.

Andy Warhol:
They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.

Anne Frank:
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

Anne Frank:
Then, without realizing it, you try to improve yourself at the start of each new day; of course, you achieve quite a lot in the course of time. Anyone can do this, it costs nothing and is certainly very helpful. Whoever doesn't know it must learn and find by experience that a quiet conscience makes one strong.

Anthony J. D'Angelo:
Become a student of change. It is the only thing that will remain constant.

Henri Bergson:
To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.

Don't Give Into The Theif In The Mind

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. Jim Rohn is one of my favorite speakers. The way in which he delivers his message always hits home with me. He mainly speaks about succeeding in sales and marketing, but does so from a different angle.

Rohn doesn't teach about specific businesses that will make you rich but rather the mindset you need to have in order to be rich. His talks are always geared towards personal development.

In order to be successful, Rohn challenges us to change ourselves rather than the environment we inhabit. Circumstances are the way they are so there's no point in trying to change them. The key is to change the way we look at the circumstances. Once we do that, the road to success becomes a bit clearer.

Enjoy this short video. After it is done, I encourage you to browse some of the other videos by Jim Rohn. Even though I have never met Mr. Rohn, I consider him to be a mentor of mine. That's the great thing about technology. The information is here for us to use. Take advantage and grow beyond your wildest dreams. Many blessings, and thanks for listening.

Happy Father's Day

Have a Happy Father's Day

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. Last month you had the opportunity to meet my mom on Mother's Day. Today I get to introduce you to the other person responsible for my existence. My Dad.

I am thankful for my father. I was looking at some old pictures of myself and my parents when I was a child. It brought back some great memories. I am very proud of my dad. He took a chance and followed his passion and left his home of Trinidad and Tobago. My father had a calling on his life to be a pastor and stared change in the face and didn't flinch.

Even though he had no idea what America would be like he decided to heed his calling to serve God and the people. I guess this is why I talk about breaking your comfort zone so much. When you break from the norm , amazing things can happen.

My dad taught me the fundamentals of life. He taught me about spirituality. I was taught to love God first and all else would fall in to place. I was also taught to love my neighbor and treat others equally. Our church motto was, "The church where everyone is someone, and Jesus Christ is Lord." This saying has stuck with me to this day. I truly believe that everyone has an infinite potential, that if explored in the light of the Source, will produce great things.

My dad encouraged me to be diverse in my studies as well as in sport. He never pushed me to play one sport, but encouraged me to strive to be the best I could be in all sports I played. Not the pressure filled encouragement that children sometime hate, but rather the encouragement that said, "see how far you can go."

My dad allowed me to grow up. He never babied me but still showed the love I needed. I was joking with my parents the last time I visited them about how I learned to drive. The day I got my driver's license, I wanted to take the car to Friday night youth group at church. My father handed me the keys and said "be careful." My mother was not so enthusiastic. She wanted to drive me instead. My dad said no, and that I was ready to go on my own.

I think deep down he was a little nervous but that is what dad's are for. They are there to teach there children when they are young. Mold them as they grow into teenagers. And finally to let them go to discover their own life. A father who has taught their children well, looks forward to the results of nurturing their seed.

I am very pleased to have my dad as my dad. A lot of kids are not fortunate enough to know there dads. A lot of marriages are ending in divorce. I am thankful that my parents are still together and going strong.

To all the fathers out there, remember why you have the title "Dad". Be a real dad. A dad that gets to the baseball games. A dad that has the patience to teach their child long division. A dad that drives 500 miles to see his son graduate from college. A dad, that when you call home at the age of 33, still offers the same comfort you felt at the age of 3. I love you dad. Thanks for teaching me and loving me as a real dad should. Many blessings to all.

When God was creating fathers, He started with a tall frame. An angel nearby said, "What kind of father is that? If you’re going to make children so close to the ground, why have you put fathers up so high? He won’t be able to shoot marbles without kneeling, tuck a child in bed without bending, or even kiss a child without a lot of stooping." God smiled, "Yes, but if I make him child size, who would children have to look up to?" When God made a father’s hands, they were large and sinewy. The angel shook her head sadly and said, "Do You know what You’re doing? Large hands are clumsy. They can’t manage diaper pins, small buttons, or rubber bands on pony tails." God smiled, "I know, but they’re large enough to hold everything a small boy empties from his pockets at the end of a day… yet small enough to cup a child’s face." Then God molded long legs and broad shoulders. The angel nearby said, "Do You realize You just made a father without a lap? How will he pull a child close to him without the kid falling between his legs?" God smiled and replied, "A mother needs a lap. A father needs strong shoulders to pull a sled, balance a boy on a bicycle or hold a sleepy head on the way home from the circus." God then created two very large feet. "Do You honestly think those feet are going to dig out of bed early in the morning when the baby cries? Or walk through a small birthday party without crushing at least three of the guests?" the angel said. God smiled: "They’ll support a child learning how to dance, and they will have shoes that young children can play in like clowns." God worked through the night, giving fathers few words but a firm authoritative voice; eyes that see everything, but remain calm and tolerant. Finally, He added tears, then turned to the angel, "Now are you satisfied?" The angel was silent.

Conceive, Believe, Achieve

Hello Friends,

This is one of my favorite videos. I often watch it to remind myself that, "Whatever the mind can conceive, and believe, it can achieve." Napoleon Hill is the author of Think and Grow Rich: The Landmark Bestseller--Now Revised and Updated for the 21st Century. I recommend that everyone read this book. Even if your aim isn't necessarily financial prosperity, there are some very powerful "life" lessons to be learned from Hill.

This video is Hill speaking about how he came to his decision to undertake a challenge given to him by Andrew Carnegie. The mission was to find the characteristics and attributes that all successful people shared. This was a daunting task. One that Hill himself didn't think he was qualified to do.

Andrew Carnegie taught him the very important lesson of having a thought and then believing that you can achieve your goal. We often have dreams and good intentions but for some reason we get distracted. We let our dreams fade away. Is it because of lack of courage? Is it lack of belief? It is just laziness? What ever it is, nothing will change unless we do something differently.

Enjoy the video. Listen to the words of Napoleon Hill. Remember that all it takes is a thought. "Whatever we think about, we bring about." Take time to meditate on the things and situations that you want in your life. Focus on what you want in your life, leaving all negative feelings and emotions behind. This is the beginning of many great events in your life.

Have a great day, and many blessings!

Motivation Comes From Within

Hello friends,

Hope all is well. Here's a great video with some excellent motivational quotes. The only one that can motivate you to do anything in life is you. Unless you have the burning desire to achieve greatness, no matter how much you are pushed to accomplish something, it won't get done. You can read all of these quotes and get excited, but until you decide to take control of your own life, things will remain the same.

Be sure to share them with your friends and family. Set the tone of your existence by adhering to the ideas expressed by these great thinkers. You have the power to decide what route you should take in life. Make it a positive one that impacts the life of those around you. Have a great day and many blessings!

Focus On What You Want

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well.

"Focus on what you want rather than what you don't want."

In my last post I listed this as one of my 3 favorite quotes. It's really been on my mind for the past couple of days. I began to listen to peoples conversations and the words that they are using. It is amazing how many times we say can't, don't, no, won't, couldn't, never. These are all words of lack and negativity.

The Universe responds to your last strong emotion. You may be wanting something and really get excited. You start to focus on what you want. You meditate. You try to stay positive. Then someone plants the seed of doubt and all is lost. You start to focus on what was said. Now those negative thoughts become your last new emotion. The Universe begins to respond. You get frustrated and give up on your dreams.

The problem stemmed from the fact that the focus was lost. A simple comment can set off a chain reaction of negative events. Guard your thoughts and your desires. Be confident and sure in what you are wanting. Listen to the the inner voice inside you that says that you can have whatever you want if you would just focus on your goals.

An exercise I like to do is to to use only positive words. I try to eliminate, can't won't,never, etc. from my conversations. It's hard at first, but becomes natural after a while. Two things will happen as a result of doing this exercise.

1.) You will remove thoughts of lack. Instead of saying, "I don't want to be broke," say "I want financial freedom." You're saying the same thing but now your focused on freedom instead of being broke.

2.) It will bring you into the present moment. The NOW. Many times our thoughts of lack stem from prior events. We tend to make our decisions based on what has happened to us in the past. It can devastating if you have tried to start a business before and it failed. The next time the opportunity comes to start a new business you may become fearful because of what happened in the past.

When we live like this growth stops. You have the same negative thoughts over and over again, never to realize your true potential based on fear of failure. Focus on what you want and you will always be "here." In the present. If you truly focus on what you want it will be impossible have any negative thoughts.

Here's a great video by Kathy McAfee. You can also visit her at The Marketing Motivator. She is talking to group of people about focusing on what they want. She does an excellent job and offers us some great exercises that will help us to be focused.

Be whatever you want to be. All it takes is the proper focus. Make it easy for yourself. As a reminder I say these words daily. "The Universe wants me to succeed. I will not get in the way by trying to dictate to the Universe how things should be done. I will simply stay focused and go with the flow."

Many blessings and thanks for listening.

Bouncing Back From Failures

New York Mets Logo
Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. I just got home from watching The Florida Marlins vs. my beloved New York Mets. This was a thrill for me because it was the first time I got to go to an opening day game. I played baseball from the age of 6 until I was 20, so baseball is one of my first loves.

It was great. The Mets won 7-2 behind the efforts of our new ace pitcher Johan Santana. Things are looking up after the disastrous collapse of last season. We owned a seven game lead going into the final month of the season and we still did not get into the playoffs. Let's just say I still get a lot of grief from my buddies over the way the season ended.
This is a new season with high expectations. I'm so excited. Take a look at this video featuring the new look Mets. It is actually a great lesson to learn about life. Everyone fails in life. It just happens. But what sets individuals apart is the ability to learn from the mistakes of our past failures and turn them into successes. The Mets are poised to do just that.

Athletes know that they practice long and hard for a reason. The rewards are down the line. If an athlete gave up every time they lost, we wouldn't have any sports because everyone loses at some point. Just as the Mets are ready to bounce back from last season, you must bounce back when you have a setback. Everyday is a new game. Everyday is an opportunity to improve.

Be persistent in all that you do. I often hear people say, "Well if I could throw the ball 95mph, I would be in the Major Leagues too." They assume that these athletes are just born this way. A lot of them have natural talent, but they also put in countless hours of practice. Countless failures lead to a few huge successes. Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money--That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! says that he has become an expert at failing. The more he fails, the smarter he becomes. The key is to make an attempt at something. Fail. Learn from that failure and then improve your efforts. If you don't try...nothing will ever happen for you.

You may not be a Mets fan, but you can take home the message of bouncing back from disappointment. Keep striving to be the best. Soon you will realize that you already possess the skills to be a champion. Many blessings and LET'S GO METS!!!

What A Feeling!

Hello friends,

Hope all is well. What a feeling it is when we realize that everything that we could ever want is right here in front of us. Our job is the "Ask" for what we want from the Universe. The Universe always "Answers" in the quickest and most effective way. Finally, when the opportunity knocks, open the door and "Receive" your blessings. Let's not make this existence harder than it needs t be. The Universe wants us to be successful. Don't resist. Let it happen. Enjoy this award winning short video from Lila Sakura called "Miracles happen." Miracles will happen as long as you "allow" them to. Just remember: Ask, Answer, Receive. Many blessings and thanks for listening.

The Secret vs. A New Earth - Well...Who's Right?

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. I came across a nice blog created by Scott B. called Keeping The Secret last night as I as researching new widgets for my blogs(Great service by the way. You can see some of my new ones on the side panel). We share similar interests. He even has a "quotes" section.

Scott invited viewers to comment on a question he received in an email. It has to do with comparing the teachings of "The Secret" in relation to Eckhart Tolle's book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose (Oprah's Book Club, Selection 61). This was the question and my response.

I am reading Tolle’s book A New Earth, and have read The Secret and all the Abraham books by Esther and Jerry Hicks. I have even read part of a Seth book by Jane Roberts! What I want to know is: is the secret compatible with the teachings of Tolle. He speaks of”wanting” as a manifestation of the ego which is an illusion. The secret says that wanting is the whole purpose of life, desiring and manifesting more and more. I know the secret does not mean “wanting” in the sense of feeling lack so maybe the 2 are compatible. Would be grateful for any feedback from you or other members.

Thanks, Jane

This was my response:

Hi Jane,

I’ve been reading the Tolle book and what I believe he is saying is generally the same principles mentioned in the “The Secret” and Esther and Jerry Hicks are saying.

Tolle cautions us to be aware as to why we are wanting the good things in life. There is nothing wrong with wanting things, but when those possessions become our identity, the problems with ego start to arise.

For example, Tolle mentions the Rolling Stones song, “I can’t get no…Satisfaction.” He says this is the theme song of the ego. The ego needs an identity, whatever it is. For some people, it’s having expensive toys. Like Tolle says, there is nothing wrong with these toys, but when we start to “need” these toys to validate our worth, it can lead to problems.

What happens, is once we reach our goal, the ego will say, “I need more.” “This is not enough.” Mr. and Mrs. Jones still have more than “I” do.” So the ego seeks out more things in order to match up with the Jones’. Or even worse yet, what we think the Jones’ think we should be. How insane is that? Tolle mentions that if when you get what you are wanting and you have a feeling of not enough, then that want was driven by ego.

Tolle also talks about the “I” that the ego identifies with and the true “I” that is in all of us. The ego’s sense of “I” is the cars that we drive. The house that we live in. The friends that we have. These are the things that satisfy the ego for a time. But it always needs more. This is not your true “I”.

The true “I” is the one that is present. That is to say, living in the “Now”. Tolle makes a point of saying that the past doesn’t exist. Nor does the future. All there ever is…is right NOW(Read “The Power Of Now” if you haven’t yet). Even when you are thinking of a future event, when it does take place it happens…now. So there’s no point on stressing about past or future events.

The ego always draw its’ opinions and actions from past events and future anxieties. Once we decide to do away with the ego and start living from moment to moment, things will start to come us easily and for he right reasons.

Instead of wanting a lot of money in order to appear to have status in the eyes of your “friends”, use the money to make a difference in society. If you make it your intention to have a lot of money to be able to give, the Universe will start to give you more money to be able to give with. Just remember there are plenty of other ways to be a giver even if you don’t have the money yet. Start now by being thankful for what you already have, and the Universe will give you more to be thankful for.

I am thankful for blogs like “Keeping The Secret” which are bringing awareness to the masses. I was encouraged to see the response to this book and to the Tolle Webinar. It shows that the level of consciousness is growing. In times such as these, it is definitely needed. Many blessings on your journey, Jane. Make it a fun one.

Dexter(QuoteGuy)

Let me know what you think. Also please leave comments about this question at Keeping The Secret. I'm sure Scott would appreciate it.

Here are two videos for you to watch. The first video is the first 20 minutes of the movie "The Secret". The second video is the first 10 minutes of the Webinar Tolle is holding with Oprah. It looks like there are 11 parts to this series. You can watch all 11 clips or simply go to oprah.com for the full version.

Many blessings and thanks for listening.

Sports Quotes & Living In The Present(NOW)

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. I grew up playing sports. I think that's why I love quotes so much. I was fortunate to have very good coaches in the sports that I played. There are still pre-game speeches that I remember to this day, and apply to my daily routine.

Eckhart Tolle talks about being present. When you are present and living in the NOW, this is when you are closest to the creator. This is the moment when there is no thinking involved. You're not worried about the past. You are not anxious for the future. You just are...

Athletes who compete in their chosen sport, when focused, are totally living in the moment. Now that I think about it, when I was playing basketball, I wasn't thinking about what happened in class that day. I wasn't thinking about my term paper that was due the next day. I was simply in the moment of sport.

These are some things you may have heard athletes saying after a game.
"I just tried to stay in the moment."
"I didn't want to get ahead of myself."
"I tried to focus on the task at hand."
"I had to block everything else out."

Now more than ever, athletes exercise their brains as well as their bodies. Every good athlete knows that it takes a positive mindset to be successful. Golf is one of the most mental of all sports. I started taking this game seriously about a year ago and have actually learned a lot about myself.

In order to play golf you have to be very focused. Attention to detail is key, as well as the ability to let go of a past shot. The legend Ben Hogan said,
"The most important shot in golf is the next one."
Another words, no matter what shot you just hit, whether good or bad, all that matters is the shot you have now. This is being present.

If you hit a bad shot and you let it get to you, your next shot is probably going to be horrible. The key to golf is forgetting your last shot and putting all your attention into making a great shot. If you step up to that shot thinking about the shank you just hit you are really living in the past. When you live in the past, your present results will be a reflection of your past. Another shank.

Golf has helped me with my visualization. I was watching a special with Australian golfer Aaron Baddeley and he mentioned that part of his pre-shot routine was to close his eyes and actually see himself hitting the shot. With that image in his mind, he proceeds to imitate the great swing he just envisioned. It has worked well for me. When I forget to do it, I usually hit a bad shot. When I visualize, my shots end up a lot better.

I try to transfer this into my everyday life. When you are wanting something it is important to visualize it exactly how you want it to be. Since practicing this on the golf course it has become easier to use this technique during my day to day activities. I am more focused when I am meditating(praying). The mental images have become clearer.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to have been able to play sports and most recently golf. I never thought I would have become so obsessed with this game but I have learned a lot of valuable lessons as a result.

The following is a you tube video produced by The Secret Guru. It has some great sports motivated quotes. Start to live your life in the moment. Don't worry about past or future event. After all...they don't exist. There is only ever right now. Many blessings, and thanks for listening.

You Have What It Takes

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. It's time to start living life rather than just observing it. No accomplishment was ever achieved by just thinking and observing. It is the first step, but will never get you to your destination.

Do the things you want to do. Be the person you want to be. The only limits are the ones we put on ourselves. Enjoy this video and from this point on, start creating the existence you deserve. Many blessings!

Can't No Longer Exist

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. I came across this video on Youtube. It is an amazing tribute to the farther son duo of Dick and Rick Hoyt. I don't want to say much because I think the footage speaks for itself. This is definitely one of those tearjerkers. I got goosebumps while viewing it.

After watching this, I'm making it a point never to use the word can't again. If any doubts creep in all I have to do is remember...CAN! Enjoy the video and many blessings!

The Time Is Now!

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. I came across this video today that has some great quotes. The music is soothing. Something you can probably meditate to.

When it comes to anything that you want in life you just have to to do it. So many times we get bogged down in the Rat Race we call life. We allow the little things to bother us when there is so much good around us.

Look around you. Smell the flowers. Appreciate others and realize that they are simply a reflection of you. Understand those around you to gain a better understanding of your self.

Grow daily learning something new that will bring you closer to your goals. Think Big...and then start small, gradually putting together the pieces of the master plan for your life.

Life is whatever you want to make it. The first step is having a dream. Dream big and in color. Envision everything exactly as you want it to be and jump at the opportunity when it presents it self.

The NBA's current advertising campaign slogan is Where Amazing Happens! "Amazing Happens" when you say to yourself,"The time is NOW, and I'm going to make the most if it!"

Enjoy this short video. Thanks for stopping by and many Blessings!

Ain't Nothing To It, But To Do It

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. Here are 55 great success quotes to help motivate you towards your goals. Whatever you want to do in life, don't give up. As Nike says, "Just do it."

One of my good friends would always say, "Ain't nothing to it, but to do it." I found this to be so true. Once you decide to commit to a project or ambition, the Universe will begin to work in your favor. The Universe will begin to open up avenues for you. The important thing is to jump on the opportunity once it is presented.

Many times we get caught up in making sure every situation is perfect before we act. The situation isn't always going to appear to be perfect. This is when you will have to trust in your own convictions. Don't let anyone deter you from your goal. If you listens to all the nay-sayers, you will doom yourself before you even get started.

Motivation comes from within. You can read all the books. Look at all the inspirational videos ever made. But if you don't have that "never quit" attitude that winners have, you will always come up short of what you want in life.

Get excited about life. After all, it is your life. Make it what you want it too be. It is never too late to start again. Create the "You" that you truly want. Set out to do amazing things and amazing things will happen.

Take a look at this video. Read the words and internalize them. Pick a few and meditate on them throughout your day. Most of all, make a decision that you will stay motivated until you reach your goals. Enjoy your day, and thanks for listening. Blessings!

The More You Give, The More You Get

Hello Friends,

Hope all is well. I ran across this video by Max Steingart. He does a motivational series which can be found at Youtube. I recommend you check some of them out.

Steingart reminds us of the importance of giving. In order to receive, we must first be givers. There are certain laws of the Universe by which we all fall under and this is one of them. The more you give, the more you receive.

The important thing to remember is to give out of love. Don't give for the sole reason of getting. The law doesn't work like that. If you give because you want something in return, you will be disappointed.

Be genuine with your gifts. My favorite acts of kindness are random. When you give randomly, there are no preconceived or hidden agendas. The kindness truly comes from the heart. Soon the behavior of giving will just become who you are and what you do.

Take a look at this video and start to think of ways in which you can be a giver. Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money--That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! gave these words.
"In my life, over all these years, whenever I have felt needy or short of help, I simply went out or found in my heart what I wanted, and decided to give it first. And when I gave, it always came back."

Subcscribe to this way of thinking and everything else will fall in to place. Enjoy the video, and thanks for listening. Blessings!
