Hello Friends,
Hope all is well. I stumbled upon this video and thought it would be good to share. Many blessings and always feel good.
The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the ‘Peanuts’ comic strip. You don’t have to actually answer the questions. Just read straight through, and you’ll get the point.
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners
3. Name the last five winners of Miss America
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress
6. Name the last decade’s worth of World Series winners
How did you do?
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are NO second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
Here’s another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with
Easier?
The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money or the most awards. They are the ones that CARE

Hello Friends,
Hope all is well. Life can be difficult at times but the strong and the successful always carry on. They go about their business despite any obstacle or challenge they may face. Life's little setbacks are just lessons that make us stronger and wiser. We must learn from these lessons and make better decisions when faced with similar situations.
The following poem is a great reminder to carry on in any and every situation. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish when you are focused and keep a never quit attitude. I promise that great things are in store for you if you just carry on. The willing are always rewarded for their faithfulness. Many blessings, and ALWAYS FEEL GOOD!
Carry On!!
It's easy to fight when everything's right,
And you're mad with the thrill and the glory;
It's easy to cheer when victory's near,
And wallow in fields that are gory.
It's a different song when everything's wrong.
When you're feeling infernally mortal;
When it's ten against one, and hope there is none,
Buck up, little soldier, and chortle:
Carry on! Carry on!
There isn't much punch in your blow.
You're glaring and staring and hitting out blind;
You're muddy and bloody, but never mind.
Carry on! Carry on!
You haven't the ghost of a show.
It's looking like death, but while you've a breath,
Carry on, my son! Carry on!
And so in the strife of the battle of life
It's easy to fight when you're winning;
It's easy to slave, and starve and be brave,
When the dawn of success is beginning.
But the man who can meet despair and defeat
With a cheer, there's a man of God's choosing;
The man who can fight to Heaven's own height
Is the man who can fight when he's losing.
Carry on! Carry on!
Things never were looming so black.
But show that you haven't a cowardly streak,
And though you're unlucky you never are weak.
Carry on! Carry on!
Brace up for another attack.
It's looking like hell, but - you never can tell;
Carry on, old man! Carry on!
There are some who drift out in the deserts of doubt,
And some who in brutishness wallow;
There are others, I know, who in piety go
Because of a Heaven to follow.
But to labor with zest, and to give of your best,
For the sweetness and joy of the giving;
To help folks along with a hand and a song;
Why, there's the real sunshine of living.
Carry on! Carry on!
Fight the good fight and true;
Believe in you mission, greet life with a cheer;
There's big work to do, and that's why you are here.
Carry on! Carry on!
Let the world be the better for you;
And at last when you die, let this be your cry:
Carry on, my soul! Carry on!

Three Quotes That Will Keep You Positive

Hello Friends,
Hope all is well. I am always thinking of positive quotes as I go through my day. It helps to keep me focused and grounded amidst the negativity that we are constantly bombarded with. We all go through it. We wake up saying to ourselves that we are going to be positive all day. Nothing will get us down.
The problem with this is that we have to interact with other people throughout the day and their negativity tends to rub off on us. You may start off the day great but when Martha or Johnny starts talking about their horrible weekend you remember what went wrong with your weekend and you engage in a "pity Party."
It is important to surround yourself with positive people and positive situations as much as possible. This is not always possible so I like to arm myself with quotes that I know I can say to myself that will put me back on the right track. By remembering these quotes I can easily stay positive despite what is happening around me.
Quote #1
Focus on what you want, rather than what you don't want.
The reason many of us don't get what we want out of life is because focus we on what we don't want in life. A lot of us say, "I don't want to be broke." "I don't want to be sick." "I don't want to be in this horrible relationship anymore." These words and thoughts have very strong negative emotions attached to them.
The Universe gives you what you thinking about and feeling about the most. It may seem like you're are doing the right thing by saying that you don't want something, but the Universe will simply give you more of what you don't want because that is where your focus is. If you focus on the mounting bills, the poor health, or unhealthy relationship, this is what you will get more of.
Start to focus on what you do want. Change your words and thoughts to "I want to live abundantly." I want to live a healthy lifestyle." I want to be in a loving relationship with a partner who accepts me for who I am." Put all your energy and emotions into this way of thinking. You will begin to see how the Universe will begin to place situations in front of you that will be alignment with what you are wanting.
Quote #2
The Power Of Attitude.
"Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens. Not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thought, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst...A spark that creates extraordinary results."
I always try to keep a positive attitude. When you have a positive attitude, positive things happen to you. We are all going have trials and setbacks. That's just life. The true measure of our character is how we react to what happens to us. When negativity arises in your life squash it immediately. How do you that? Go back to the first quote and focus on what you want.
People will notice something different about you when you take a positive attitude. They will notice that you dictate what you want out of life instead of just letting life beat you down. People will want to be around you. They will feel comfortable around you. You will still get those people that will try to bring you down, but if you stay positive and true to yourself and your goals, amazing things will happen. Be ready to ride the wave of positive momentum.
Quote #3
"We must become the change we want to see in the world." Gandhi
This quote is very important to the times in which we are living. Gandhi advises us to change ourselves before we try to change the world. Gandhi understood that we create our reality through our thoughts. Whatever is happening on the inside is what will be projected in the physical world.
We have so many wars going on right now. The war against drugs. The war against crime. The war against terrorism. All of these wars are being lost because the focus is on war. War begets more war. It is well know that Mother Theresa refused to go to any anti- war rallies. "Show me a peace rally and I'll be the first one there." Mother Theresa knew that the "more you resist something, the more it persist."
We must change our thought to that of peace, love, and compassion. That is the only way to bring about peace in the world. There has to be a collective rise of positive consciousness. Start by being courteous to your neighbors, coworkers, and people that you meet in the street. I always get a kick out of the reactions of some people when I say hi or give them a compliment. They sometimes don't know how to react to niceness. It's almost like they are surprised.
So those are the three quotes that I try to live by everyday. As a bonus I'll give you one that I recently added to my daily reminder.
Bonus Quote
"Thank you for the gift of abundance!"
I say this to myself constantly. I say it if I find a penny on the ground. It is only a penny, but it a reminder to be thankful for what I already have and what is on the way. I say this not only for money but for all aspects of my life. Abundance can come financially, through good health, positive relationships, ideas, love, compassion, thoughtfulness, creativity, confidence, etc...It's easy to see how much abundance is really around us which takes us back to the first quote. Be thankful and focus on the abundance that you already have and the Universe will give you more to be thankful for.
Thanks for listening, and ALWAYS FEEL GOOD!
